5 Things You Can Learn About Connections From Hollywood’s Bromances!

Have you seen some of Hollywood’s most famous bromances? These actors have made professional connections that carry over into their private lives. There is a benefit to making connections that transcend beyond the professional.

So what can we learn from Hollywood’s most famous bromances?

1.)    Real authentic connections benefit both parties. Actors such as James Franco and Seth Rogen (This Is The End, Freaks and Geeks circa 1999 and Pineapple Express to name a few) or the bromance trio of Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins (Supernatural) love their costars and they are not afraid to show it, this creates opportunities for them to continue working with each other. Be a friend to your professional network and don’t be afraid to show how much you love their business!
2.)    Friends take their friends with them on the road to success. Often these Hollywood bromancers will recommend each other for roles in their latest projects. This means when one of them books a role the other books a role. Isn’t this what you do with your friends? You don’t ask anything in return you just want them to do well when you do well. Do the same for your professional connections.

3.)    Work together to create amazing projects! How many actors and directors direct movies with their bromancers in them? Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese have an epic bromance and he has been in five movies directed by Scorsese.  A good bromance means that when you work together you can do so much more than you would by yourself! Join together to create networking events, marketing campaigns, mentorship opportunities, or to support your favorite charities. The outcome will be as epic as The Wolf of Wall Street (Scorsese’s highest grossing film to date).

4.)    You are the people you spend time with the most. I am sure most of you have heard of the 5 people rule. That you are the average of the five people you spend time with the most. Your bromances and professional network will make you a better person. If you spend time with people who are doing great things, they will inspire you to do great things. Spend time with those in your professional network who inspire you to dream bigger, take risks, and level up.

5.)    Your bromance and professional connections will outlast most other relationships and might have more support. Don’t take your bromances or your professional network for granted. When family and friends won’t support you, your professional network will because they have been there. They understand the need for startups and established businesses alike to have support.
